I’ve Been Super Excited About Hypnosis
If you have worked with me or follow my content, you probably know that I’m a huge fan of working with the subconscious, aka hypnosis.
For about five years I’ve been working with my own subconscious, unblocking, integrating shadows, and healing my inner child.
And for the past year and a half, I’ve been helping my clients do the same. I can full-heartedly say, that it absolutely works and brings deep-rooted and long-lasting change into people's lives!
BUT… lately, I’ve been taking the whole hypnosis game in my life to the next level.
For one, I’ve started to prepare myself for giving birth in November (👼🏼) with an amazing hypnobirthing course!
Knowing the power of working with my subconscious, it was a no-brainer for me to use this method to prime my brain and body in the best possible way for a peaceful birth.
And I can truly say I went from being pretty scared of the fact that I’ll have to give birth in order to hold baby in my arms, to feeling freaking excited about giving birth and the whole experience in general. I’ll update you in 5 months on how it all went. ;-)
Secondly, next to the hypnotherapy training I did last year which was more specialized in guiding people through a self-hypnotic process, I started another course, covering one-on-one behavioral therapy hypnosis and regression therapy hypnosis. And it’s been mind-blowing to see the effects these methods have on others and myself.
I had the opportunity to get hypnosis for a block that I had been working on for months or maybe years.
The block I’m talking about is I’m worthy if I’m successful // I’m not worthy if I’m not successful.
I connected it back to experiences in high school and to an awful partner my mom once had when I was 12, but I still could never really pull out the root of the problem.
And let me tell you with three one-on-one hypnosis sessions (using resourced-based hypnosis leaning on behavioral therapy) this entire insecurity seems to have vanished from my life. And when I say my life I mean from my subconscious.
It’s only been a couple of days now, so I can’t promise that I won’t have to go down there again in a few weeks to reenforce but I can truly say I haven’t felt this light and free in a while.
This is the interesting thing with the work I do: Sometimes you don’t even realize how heavy something has been laying on you until it’s gone. 🌈
It is really one of the greatest feelings when you have something weighed so heavy on your shoulders for years, and it just be gone with the right coaching or healing tool.
This is actually a rule I live by, YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEEL BAD. My experience is really, whenever something is laying heavy on your chest, it’s an invitation to be looked at and healed. And I have yet to find something in my life that can not be healed, lifted, or shifted!
And with this last trigger in my life having been smoothed out, I can wholeheartedly scream it from the rooftops. YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO FEEL BAD. YOU ARE MEANT TO FEEL FREE & SIMPLY GOOD.
And just as a side note: Of course, you are meant to feel bad sometimes, otherwise you wouldn’t grow. But you are not meant to marry your pain or your suffering.
Meaning you don’t have to drag your suffering out.
Ok, so this love letter today was more of a stream of consciousness, an ode to hypnosis and working with the subconscious mind. I hope it motivates you to take the first or hundredth step on your healing & self-empowerment journey.
Because in the end, the relationship and love you have with yourself quite literally determines how happy and empowered you live your life.
Have a lovely rest of the week & speak to you soon!
